We seek an experienced Wireless System Validation Engineer who will play a critical role in defining, monitoring and developing in the system validation team.
In this position, you will define, design, and collaborate closely with R&D teams from several subsystems like HW, electro-optics, FW, physics and system.
*This role is fully onsite*
Protocol Validation: develop and execute comprehensive test plans for functionality, interoperability, and performance across various hardware/firmware versions
Performance Optimization: Analyze and improve wireless latency, throughput, and error rates. This includes conducting Over-the-Air (OTA) testing, range measurements, and power consumption analysis
Coexistence & Compliance: Validate that Bluetooth and Wi-Fi coexist without interference and ensure products meet regulatory standards (Bluetooth SIG, FCC, CE)
RF Analysis: Investigate signal degradation and interference issues using RF chamber setups
Debugging Tools: Proficient in using spectrum analyzers, BT sniffers, and protocol analyzers (specifically Ellisys, Frontline, and Wireshark) for packet-level analysis
Metrics & Telemetry: skilled in collecting and analyzing key performance metrics, including RSSI, SNR, PER, jitter, and latency
Automation: Utilization of Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW to script test automation and support cloud-based testing environments
7+ years of experience in wireless validation or RF testing
Strong knowledge of RF fundamentals. Knowledge in Bluetooth (Classic, BLE), Wi-Fi (802.11) - An advantage
Hands-on experience with wireless test equipment (spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, protocol sniffers)
Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW for test automation - An advantage
